Movies on Memorial
When Movies on Memorial was launched two summers ago, Winnipeggers quickly gave the idea their approval. With over 6000 people coming to watch the outdoor movies over the past two summers, Movies on Memorial is becoming a Winnipeg summer tradition.
“There is something special about doing indoor things outdoors,” says Stefano Grande, executive director of the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ. “You get a chance to breathe in the fresh air and experience downtown in a way you many not have done before. With this initiative, we’re giving people even more reasons to come check out their downtown in the evenings and weekends.”

Grab some friends, a blanket and a picnic basket and enjoy a great movie in Memorial Park. If you missed it this year, keep your eye out for next summer’s movie listings.
